FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, soil tillage on home's or farm ground.

SUBSTANCE: cultivator has drive shaft comprising cone gear engaged with cone gears of concentrically arranged horizontal shafts. Internal shaft is extending through two hermetically sealed cavities attached to frame poles and external shaft is extending from first cavity into second cavity. Cone engagement zone is arranged in one of cavities. Wheels and mellowing depth change-over mechanism are attached to frame through bracket. Said change-over mechanism is engaged with spring-loaded rod arranged in handle casing. Owing to improved maneuverability of cultivator equipped with electric engine, operator can adjust mellowing depth for tilling soil around brushes and trees, as well as in greenhouses without contaminating of environment.

EFFECT: increased maneuverability of cultivator, provision for required mellowing cultivation depth and reduced power consumption.
