FIELD: printing arts.
SUBSTANCE: in the claimed printing plate provision is made for partitions dividing the engraved sections into smaller sections and vertically projecting over the bottom surface of the engraved section to a height making up at least 50 % of the engraving depth, the mentioned partitions have no surfaces lying at the level of the printing plate surface.
EFFECT: partitions ensure absence of printing objects at application of printing ink, make it possible to effectively prevent removal of printing ink from the engraved sections at wiping-off of the excess of this printing ink from the printing plate surface, as well as make it possible to completely cover a large section of the printed image surface on the information carrier with layers of ink.
