Abstract RU 2236949 C2

FIELD: printing engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device has data carrier having at least one sealed surface of paint layer thickness equal to Da and at least one second sealed surface of paint layer thickness equal to Db adjacent to the first one. Paint layer thickness varies from one layer to another one. Continuous sealed surfaces are directly adjacent to each other and are separated one from another with a distinct line hardly distinguishable by bare eye. Paint layer of both sealed surfaces is of minimum thickness in the vicinity of the boundary line. Printing plate is used for producing the continuous sealed surfaces. A method for manufacturing the plates is given. The printing plate has partition as a characteristic feature. The partition is arranged between the first and the second engraved areas, its upper edge being sharp and ending at the level of printing plate surface. The metallographic printing method is usable for producing continuous sealed surfaces adjacent to each other and giving way for applying the printing plate.
