FIELD: engineering of means for checking authenticity of documents.
SUBSTANCE: the claim describes a code, primarily in form of barcode, which by means of metallographic printing is applied to base, primarily onto bank note. Certain parts of the code have different thickness of paint layer forming them. Printing paint used for printing such code contains luminescent and/or electro-conductive and/or x-ray radiation absorbing and/or infrared radiation absorbing substances, making it possible to differentiate parts of code with different thickness of paint layer forming them, on basis of different intensiveness of measuring signal received from each one of them.
EFFECT: possible manufacture of large amounts of documents, protected from forgery, without high technical and technological costs.
