FIELD: magnetically active compounds.
SUBSTANCE: sodium carbonate powder is dissolved in water and filtered to give solution A. Ferrous sulfate is dissolved in water to give solution B. Solutions A and B are combined, which results in precipitation of turquoise ferrous carbonate. Precipitate is placed into thermostatically controlled chamber at 55-60оС and kept therein for 1-1.5 h, after which precipitate acquires black-brown shade and becomes magnetoactive. Product can be used in medicine.
EFFECT: simplified preparation procedure and reduced expenses.
