FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: to obtain iron oxide (III) sodium nitride is added to solution of iron salt (II), with further addition of sodium hydroxide solution. Obtained sediment is separated, dried and subjected to thermal oxidation at 650°C.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce duration and reduce the number of stages of obtaining crystalline iron oxide.
