FIELD: building technique, particularly for metal bridges construction, namely highway bridge construction.
SUBSTANCE: method involves assembling and welding butt of bottom beam boom, adjusting and welding vertical or inclined at 45o angle butts of beam wall insert; welding butts of upper boom insert; welding fillet welds of lower boom, butt and fillet welds of horizontal reinforcing rib inserts; welding orthotrophic plate to upper beam boom; welding together fillet seams of upper boom. Vertical or inclined butts of beam wall inserts of 12-32 mm, preferably 14-20 mm are made by automatic erection welding. During welding at least considerable part of weld seam is forcible formed by hidden arc welding or under melted slag along with feeding one or more welding wires in welding area. Welding wire has solid cross-section with diameter of 1.6 - 3.0 mm. Gap between welding wires is not less than 5 mm.
EFFECT: increased reliability of connections formed preferably by vertical welded seams, reduced cost, reduced metal consumption.
