FIELD: equipment for connecting pipe and other tubular members with hollow construction.
SUBSTANCE: method involves positioning annular member of sealing device around pipe, said annular member being provided with threaded portion adapted for engagement with threaded tubular inlet. Annular member has first and second sealing parts. First sealing part is adapted for providing sealing engagement between sealing member and inlet. Second sealing part is adapted for providing sealing engagement between annular member and outer rounded surface of pipe end. Method further involves deforming pipe end outside around at least part of its circle; providing threaded connection between annular member and tubular inlet. Method allows engagement between sealing member and pipe end to be provided within wide range of relative axial positions.
EFFECT: increased efficiency in creating connection providing for mutual displacement of tubular member and hollow construction.
