FIELD: manufacture of pipes for gaseous, petroleum, chemical and atomic industry.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has set of segments connected so as to define closed ring. Segments are formed from rod material with memory effect. Segment ends are bent outside and connected with adjacent segments by means of embracing members, in particular, ring-like members. Embracing members for closing link are made in the form of threaded shackle equipped with faceplate. At final stage of assembling apparatus, shoes are moved upon two ends of adjacent segments for preventing said segments from unbending.

EFFECT: increased value and uniform application of pressure developed by means of pipe squeezing apparatus.
