FIELD: valving for lines specially adopted for mixing fluid.
SUBSTANCE: mixer comprises housing with drain and branch pipes for supplying cold and hot water, temperature controller, and cock-batcher. The connecting pipes receives check valves. Each of the check valves has seat, sealing spacer spring-loaded with respect to the connecting pipe, and guiding rod mounted in the guiding bushing for permitting reciprocation. The sealing spacer is secured to the bottom part of the guiding rod and is mounted above the seat for permitting overlapping the rod. The edges of the seat from the side of sealing spacer are sharpened. The seat is made of plastic. The housing is inclined to the connecting pipes and toward the drain. The temperature controller is made of slide valve with a handle mounted upstream of the connecting pipes in the dummy hole in the housing. The slide valve is made of rotating hollow plug. Three openings are provided in the plug wall. Two openings are in communication with the connecting pipes through the passages in the housing. One opening is connected with the passage in the housing. This passage is connected with the outlet opening of the cock-batcher through the flow rate controller made of rotating gate. The cock-batcher comprises housing with shutoff valve and push-button for starting. The housing receives the sleeve to define ring passage from the outer side of the sleeve for flowing water to the sleeve through the inlet ports made in the top section of the sleeve. The shutoff valve is defined by the ring mounted on the rod and bushing mounted on the rod through the central opening. The rod is provided with groove above the bushing in the initial position of the cock-batcher. A diaphragm made of a flexible material is mounted in the housing above the bushing and rod. The diaphragm, bushing, and sleeve are tightly pressed to each other by the lid. The lid has guiding bushing. The stop of the starting push-button passes through the central opening and abuts against the diaphragm.
EFFECT: reduced flow rate.
