FIELD: means of automatic registration of small arms and control of their use.
SUBSTANCE: a body is installed in the muzzle section of the barrel at a small distance from the muzzle hole fulfilling the function of a control element. The optical image of the element surface facing the muzzle hole is read out and registered with the aid of an automatic device, which then is memorized and used as an identification symptom. Any attempt of secretive extraction of the control element from the face or back side of the muzzle will result in an irreversible deformation of the control element changing the optical image of the registered surface. The control element has a resilient body, easily deformable film coating with an outer surface reflecting the optical sounding radiation, the film coating envelops the body end face facing the muzzle hole and is fixed on it with impossibility of removal. Provision is made for an element providing for a mechanism action on the film coating at an attempt of pulling-out of the body from the loading side of the barrel.
EFFECT: enhanced degree of reliability of control of unauthorized use of the small arms.
