FIELD: oceanography; measurement of sea water parameters in full-scale basin.
SUBSTANCE: positive buoyancy buoy provided with pendulum mounted on spherical articulation is laid in basin. Pendulum is spring-loaded on four sides by means of two pairs of fiber coils optically aligned into two independent interferometers. Provision is made for third pair of coils; one coil of third pair is located inside buoy and other coil is located on its outside; they are also aligned into interferometer. Output signals of interferometers give information on inclination and vertical coordinate.
EFFECT: enhanced informative capacity.
