FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: primary converter of fiber-optic meter is placed into stream of liquid. The fiber-optic meter is made in form of two fiber interferometers. The first fiber interferometer is made in form of two fiber coils disposed along the substrate, which has some pressure gradient in the stream. The second one is also made in form of two coils, one of which has a thermo-sensitive element which is heated by a special radiation heater, which is mated optically with the thermo-sensitive element through the fiber interferometer. The first fiber-optic interferometer has to be really the Pyto-Pandtle tube, which is sensitive to pulsation of speed head. The second fiber interferometer has to be a hot-wire anemometer, being sensitive to speed pulsations. Pulsations of density of sea medium is achieved due to processing signal received from fiber interferometers. EFFECT: improved precision of measurement. 4 cl, 3 dwg
