EMITTING COAXIAL CABLE TO TEST ANTENNA IN CONDUCTING ENVIRONMENT Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2231180 C1

FIELD: radio engineering, utilization in the capacity of radiator while testing antenna placed in conductive medium.

SUBSTANCE: technical result of invention lies in increased accuracy and authenticity of measurements while checking parameters of system of spaced apart antennas in conducting environment. Emitting coaxial cable includes inner conductor surrounded with dielectric layer and outer conductor displaying holes. Novelty of approach to emitting cable is that outer conductor with holes is coated with layer of dielectric and is electrically connected to conducting medium by means of inserted electrodes equidistantly arranged between holes of outer conductor and embracing outer conductor. Length of each electrode should be not less than skin layer of conducting medium on lowest frequency of measurement range.

EFFECT: increased accuracy and authenticity of measurements.
