FIELD: electrical engineering; unattended electric drives such as those for shovels.

SUBSTANCE: direct three-phase frequency changer of induction-motor drive designed for operation under vibrations, impacts, in dusty atmospheres typical of mechanisms it drives is assembled of monoblock reversible dc thyristor converters and master oscillator; supply and control synchronization voltage is applied to their inputs from common power supply; power inputs of each monoblock dc thyristor converter are connected to supply mains and output of each phase of mentioned converter is connected to respective phase lead of induction motor. Each monoblock dc thyristor converter has power section and separate control system. Voltage and frequency of motor phase currents are regulated in response to phase voltage and current polarity setting signals arriving from master oscillator output. Master oscillator has digital computer and analog motor torque and speed governors adjusted to technical optimum.

EFFECT: facilitated adjustment and maintenance of frequency changer, enhanced operating reliability of drive in field conditions, reduced outage periods.
