FIELD: electric engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used for smooth start-up and control of speed in asynchronous thyristor electric drives of common industrial application, namely in drives of fans, compressors, pumps, polishing machines, conveyors, mechanisms of horizontal displacement of lifting transport means, etc. AC electric drive includes asynchronous motor, thyristor voltage converter, control unit, unit of rotation frequency controller, unit for setting of rotation frequency and metre of motor rotation frequency arranged on the basis of stator EMF metre with sensors of current and linear voltage of motor.
EFFECT: simplified realisation of motor speed automatic control system in asynchronous electric drives with thyristor control without sensor of rotation frequency on shaft with preservation of control accuracy.
