FIELD: agriculture, in particular, mechanized animal farming.
SUBSTANCE: milking unit has teat cups, pulsator, milk claw, milk hoses and vacuum regulator. Milking unit is connected to milk pipeline. Vacuum regulator has milk catch arranged in hermetically sealed casing fitted with partition wall provided with openings. Partition wall divides casing cavity into upper and lower sections communicated with one another via valve fixed on milk catch bottom and arranged in lower section, which is provided with discharge branch pipe. Vacuum regulator is arranged so as to separate milk hoses and is equipped with replaceable spherical or cylindrical insert. Cylindrical part of insert is continued with truncated cone arranged in milk catch and fixed in upper part of vacuum regulator. Truncated cone is arranged in upper part of replaceable insert. Grooves are formed on lower surface of insert.
EFFECT: increased efficiency owing to providing precise vacuum extent in teat cup cavities arranged under teats at the beginning and at the end of milking process depending on cow milk yield level.
