FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves forming superficial scleral flap turned with its base towards limb. Triangular flap is formed from adjacent sclera layers in the inside of the formed bed. Corneoscleral strip is formed. The strip includes Schlemm's canal outer wall and peripheral cornea layers with limbal edges of Descemet membrane being exposed without opening the anterior chamber. Curved cannula is introduced into Schlemm's canal lumen. Curvature radius is equal to 5-10 mm, cross-section diameter is equal to 0.2-0.5 mm. The cannula is withdrawn after having sucked Schlemm's canal endothelium, juxtacanalicular tissue, trabecula tissue elements, pigment and pseudoexfoliations in the vicinity of internal wall of the Schlemm's canal with corneoscleral trabecula part being retained.
EFFECT: increased intraocular fluid discharge from the anterior chamber in natural way.
