One forms then negative conditioned reflex for alcohol and/or tobacco smoking and positive setting to abstinent mode of life, after which one mechanically irritates biologically active Sheng-ting point and transfers patient into meditation state and, against this background, one accomplishes verbal suggestive action with intention to cause refusal to utilize alcohol and/or tobacco smoking. Pressing then Bay-huey point, one produces suggestion formula. After that, one demonstrates to patient powdered placebo and suggests that this powder possesses healing properties, reduces temptation for alcohol and/or tobacco smoking. Powder is introduced orally, while one simultaneously presses Ya-meng point and repeats suggestion formula.
