FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in designing, developing and modifying of brake systems of wheeled vehicles. Proposed brake system consists of brake master cylinder, mechanisms with operating cylinders (in number corresponding to number of wheels), pipelines, reverse mechanism, variable-speed drive, final drive, and axle-shafts of driving wheel drive. The following devices are additionally installed: power source, brake valve, brake system electronic control unit, electric accumulator, overrunning clutch with interlock mechanism, brake pedal travel sensor, reverse speed shift-in sensor connected so that reverse mechanism is mechanically connected with driving wheels with fitted on brake mechanisms through overrunning clutch with interlock mechanism installed between driven shaft of reverse mechanism and driving pulley of variable-speed drive, variable-speed drive final drive and axle-shafts. Power source is connected by pipelines through brake valve and electric accumulator with operating cylinders of brake mechanisms (in number corresponding to number of wheels).
Simultaneously brake pedal travel sensors, electric accumulator, overrunning clutch interlock mechanism and reverse speed shift-in sensor are connected to brake system electronic control unit in parallel.
EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities of brake system.
