FIELD: space engineering; designing spacecraft.
SUBSTANCE: proposed propellant compartment has case with fuel and oxidizer tanks inside it. Case is provided with hermetic hatches where fuel and oxidizer filling panels are mounted with valves fitted in them; they are communicated with respective propellant tanks through respective pipe lines and are provided with seals. Each hatch is provided with outer detachable protective apron and unit for coupling the filling systems of propellant tanks. Fuel and oxidizer hatches are located in case and are shifted in height and perimeter of case.
EFFECT: ease in servicing; enhanced safety in filling the tanks.
