FIELD: space engineering; transport spacecraft for re-charging orbital stations, such as MIR. SUBSTANCE: propellant compartment has case with external heat insulation and framework mounted inside it. Fuel and oxidizer tanks secured on this framework are provided with respective fittings, charging pipe lines and bottles of pressurization system. Case is made in form of cone-shaped envelopes provided with external fins coupled over larger diameter. On the outside, case is provided with multilayer vacuum heat insulation made in form of mats secured on external fins of envelopes. Secured on inner surface of case is spiral-shaped coil connected to temperature control system of spacecraft by means of pipe lines. Propellant charging pipe lines are laid on the outside of case ensuring thermal contact with its surface. Thermally-controlled coat is applied on inner surface of case and on outer surfaces of framework, coil and propellant tanks. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and strength of propellant compartment. 1 dwg
