FIELD: shock-absorbing equipment for transportation systems.
SUBSTANCE: shock-absorber has at least one resilient member made in the form of equally spaced rings with intermediate layers, and connecting and guiding members. Resilient members are made elliptical and guiding member is made in the form of stem with connecting members put thereon. Connecting members are made in the form of mushrooms and washers secured by lock connection, such as groove-and-ridge connection. Outer mushroom-shaped connecting members of shock-absorbers are fitted with joining members, such as steel flanges, and washers and internal connecting members are manufactured from resilient material. Legs of mushroom-shaped members are pressed into resilient member wall openings arranged in diametrically opposite sites along small axis of ellipse so that resilient members are fixed with their walls between respective mushroom heads and resilient washers and are additionally biased by saddle-shaped resilient compensators arranged therebetween. Equally spaced rings of each resilient member are manufactured from fibrous composite material and internal layers are made from elastic material and are partly inserted between fibers of resilient ring material.
EFFECT: increased energy absorbing capacity, reduced weight and increased corrosion resistance of resilient members, enhanced reliability in operation and simplified assembling of shock-absorber.
