FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: proposed container comprises cylindrical case and end covers made of inner and outer thin-wall fiber glass shells made by fabric winding and mid layer made of low-density material. Said case is reinforced with end and mid rings and frames. Covers are reinforce with rings along its edges. Container is composed of the base and detachable part with horizontal joint face and equipped with external supports and internal supports, rigging, lever-locks coupling the base with detachable part, and seal rings. Said base and detachable part are equipped with strips of laminar fiber glass arranged in edges of joint face fitted in between case and cover shells, layers being located equidistant with container inner surfaces. Said edges are composed of strip and shell edges. Seal elements are made of sealing section and "П"-like casing arranged to cover said section by its flanges pressed against case wall or panels of segments by strips by means of screws screwed in strips across the layers.

EFFECT: higher safety of ammunition storage.
