FIELD: experimental thermal physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be utilized to determine momentary surface average coefficient of convective heat transfer to surface of working chamber of volumetric action machine. In compliance with proposed procedure value of momentary convective heat transfer is found from ratio of value of specific heat flow to difference of momentary temperatures of gas and walls. Value of space of working chamber, area of heat exchange, surface, values of pressure, temperatures of gas and walls which momentary values are measured in sealed chamber are utilized to compute value of specific heat flow.
EFFECT: increased precision of determination of momentary coefficient of convective heat transfer.
