FIELD: meteorological support of geophysical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: the installation has a radiator with a source of gamma-radiation, calibrated down-hole instrument with a detector, screen positioned between the radiator and the detector. The screen is made in the form of a cylindrical cassette closed with a cover with a collimation window. The cassette cavity is divided into equal sectors. The sectors are filled with calibrated absorbers with a different degree of absorption. The cassette is installed for rotation.
EFFECT: enhanced service potentialities, enhanced precision of calibration, enhanced safety of the service personnel.
