FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves collecting blood from wound in its natural flow mode under gravity into sterile package containing anticoagulant attached to the lower surgical wound edge with sterile adhesive film below the supposed operation incision. The autoblood is processed within apparatus and returned to patient blood circulation stream. Blood is also collected by extracting erythrocytes from operation napkins impregnated with blood. The napkins are enclosed in sterile reservoir containing anticoagulant and 0.9% sodium chloride solution and holding there for 20-30 min. Then, the napkins are taken out and the erythrocytes eliminated from the napkins and suspended in preserving solution are processed in the apparatus and also returned into the patient blood circulation stream.
EFFECT: fully compensated blood losses.
