BILLIARD TABLE "D-5" Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: production of billiard tables designed for "Russian pyramid" version of billiard, may be used for "pull", "snooker" and "karambol" billiard versions.

SUBSTANCE: billiard table has frame mounted on vertical supports, each made with open top cavity, table top mounted in horizontal position on frame and equipped with sides having rubber shock-absorbers, and coverings for table top and sides. Each vertical support is made in the form of hollow shaped casting having fastening upper part and shaped supporting lower part, with inner cavities of both parts being communicated with one another. Ratio of shaped supporting lower part volume to fastening upper part volume is 1.2-12.0.

EFFECT: reduced center of mass of vertical supports and, on the whole, of billiard table, resulting in increased transverse rigidity and stability, improved workability and reduced labor intensity for manufacture of vertical supports.
