FIELD: waste water treatment.
SUBSTANCE: process comprises clarification in primary settlers, cleaning in air tanks, clarification in secondary settlers, compaction of excessive activated sludge, anaerobic fermentation in methane tanks, compaction of fermented sediment, and dehydration on filter presses. After secondary settlers excess activated sludge is routed to distributor, where it is divided into three streams. One of them is returned into air tanks and the second is routed to stabilizing air tank. Third stream is fed into methane tank, into which crude sediment from the primary settlers is simultaneously added. Commonly fermented sediment is conveyed to washing in fermented sediment tank, after which compacted and, prior to be dehydrated, introduced into thickener. Stabilized sludge is washed in fermented sediment tank and/or in water separator. Moreover, dehydrated stabilized sludge is then washed in fermented sediment tank and/or in sediment thickener, and/or on filter presses. Washing in fermented sediment tank is effected at ratio of fermented sediment and stabilized sludge to wash water equal to 1:1.
EFFECT: increased loading on methane tanks, reduced power consumption and consumption of industrial-grade water for washing of sediment, and increased filter press efficiency.
