FIELD: glassmaking.
SUBSTANCE: in the method, to perform edge compression of glass plate element, a fusible adhesive substance containing homo- and copolymers of acrylates and/or methacrylates is used (quantitative proportions of ingredients of fusible substance are provided). The substance is applied onto plate edges and a second glass plate is accurately overlaid, after which resulting assembly is compacted to achieve desired thickness, free space between the two plates is filled with flooding resin, filling opening is closed, and flooding resin hardened.
EFFECT: facilitated manufacture procedure.
