MICROEMULSION OF TYPE "WATER-IN OIL" BASED ON TISSUE-SOFTENING COMPOSITION FOR PROVIDING COSMETIC PROPERTIES Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2232185 C2

FIELD: cosmetology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composition and method for providing additional cosmetic properties of the basic composition used for softening tissue in final phase of its manufacturing. In particular, invention relates to microemulsion of type "water-in-oil" comprising perfume that able to mix with perfume-free the basic composition for tissue softening that is in the form of an aqueous emulsion so to provide dispersion of perfume and above indicated aqueous emulsion under conditions of small shift degree and avoiding gelling and providing thus the stable perfume-containing liquid composition for tissue softening wherein above indicated microemulsion of type "water-in-oil" comprises the following components: (a) from 5 to 80 weight % of surface-active tissue softening agent taken among the group consisting of compounds of quaternary ammonium diester or diamidoammonium compounds; (b) from 2 to 50 weight % of organic solvent; (c) from 5 to 80 weight % of perfume not mixing with water; (d) from 0.5 to 30 weight % of water. Above indicated microemulsion doesn't contain anionic surface-active substance and weight ratio of perfume to organic solvent is from 32:68 to 60:40. Per cent content of components (a), (b) and (c) and value of weight ratio of perfume to organic solvent are taken so that resulting composite would provide the formation of microemulsion of type "water-in-oil". Application of this emulsion gives possibility to add perfume and to confer other cosmetic properties of an aqueous basic composition under conditions of small shift and avoiding problems associated with gelling or physical instability in the final structure-softening product also.

EFFECT: valuable properties of emulsion.
