FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to self-emulsifiable polyolefin compositions, in particular, to self-emulsifiable polyisobutene compositions and use thereof. Emulsion contains from 5 to 90 wt% polyolefin, from 5 to 90 wt% polymeric emulsifier Px and from 5 to 40 wt% surfactant Sx, wherein weight ratio of polyolefin to Px and Sx ranges from 4:1 to 1:3 and weight ratio Px to Sx is greater than 1.25. Furthermore, composition can additionally contain in amount of up to 40 wt% oil Ox, additive Ax – up to 10 wt% and water up to 8 wt%. Obtained composition can be emulsified in aqueous compositions and/or water without need for emulsification with high shear force or any other standard emulsification methods.
EFFECT: disclosed are self-emulsifiable polyolefin compositions.
