FIELD: mechanization of pile driving operations; single-acting diesel hammers.
SUBSTANCE: proposed tubular diesel hammer contains guide cylinder articulated with working cylinder on which fuel tank and fuel pump with flexible hoses are secured, striker part in form of piston, combustion chamber and anvil block. Anvil block is made in form of plunger pair including plunger installed in axis of working cylinder and rigidly secured on lower part of anvil block which is stationary relative to working cylinder and movable cylinder spring-loaded relative to lower part of anvil block installed for interaction with plunger. Space of movable cylinder is connected with combustion chamber through channels made in cylinder housing.
EFFECT: improved starting capacity of tubular diesel hammer operating in winter, increased capacity of pile-driving set owing to excluding time losses for starting.
