FIELD: civil engineering; construction of foundations. SUBSTANCE: diesel hammer has even number of striking members 6, control device made for forming impact masses of different combination from striking members with resultant of their weight on axis of diesel hammer anvil block 5 and force accumulator in form of spring 32 with crossmember 26 for orientation of resultant of dynamic loads on anvil block axis. Control device has electromagnets providing possibility of fixing of each striking member and change-over switches corresponding to number of possible combinations of striking members combining the electromagnets according to combinations of striking members. EFFECT: possibility of changing energy of strokes, their frequency and alternating different energy strokes in process of pile driving depending on its interaction with soil. 5 cl, 11 dwg
