FIELD: seal testing equipment, in particular, testing of hydraulic cylinder stem seals.
SUBSTANCE: stand has hydraulic cylinder with channels for accommodation of seals under testing procedure, stems mechanically connected with one another, hydraulic loading system, measuring system including detachable working fluid leakage accumulating chambers, and strain measuring bushings connected to registering equipment. Stems are connected with one another through strain measuring bushing and are equipped with additional strain measuring bushings arranged at their free ends. Additional strain measuring bushings are cooperating with floating supports, which are in contact with adjusting screws located in frame threaded apertures. Stand is further equipped with hydraulic cylinder displacement drive including chain transmission kinematically connected with hydraulic cylinder body through clamp fitted with slotted flat having size exceeding diameter of chain transmission sprocket. Pin is arranged on one of chain links perpendicular to axis of advancement and is contacting with flat through slot.
EFFECT: increased efficiency in testing of seals for tightness and measuring of friction force at constant speed of advancement of hydraulic cylinder.
