FIELD: vacuum engineering; shutting-off vacuum spaces.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device includes valve with body and at least one circular chamber which has wall on at least one side. This wall is elastically deformed under action of pressure of energy carrier, thus ensuring tight contact with wall of passage to be shut-off. Device is provided with at least one gas source on base of hydrogen accumulating alloy. This source is connected with circular chamber (chambers).
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of shutting-off vacuum spaces.
