FIELD: manufacture of tubes, namely tube joining assemblies made of composition materials, possibly production of electric insulation, compensation or other inserts of composition materials in pipelines for gas and oil products, heating circuits and so on.
SUBSTANCE: assembly includes two metallic ends; on outer surface of each tube end annular beads are formed. Reinforcing roving is placed onto each tube end in such a way that it embraces beads. Roving is made, for example of glass threads impregnated with polymeric binder. Cross section of bead on surface portion that contacts with lengthwise layer is made in the form of oval or helix part in such a way that to provide gradually increased curvature radius of bead cross section from rib base until its apex. Invention provides lowered bending stresses in lengthwise layers of glass plastics of tube joining assembly.
EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability and safety of pipelines with improved tube joining assemblies.
