FIELD: gas, oil, mining, and chemical industries. SUBSTANCE: proposed process is used in construction and routing of oil- and gas-field, auxiliary, and main-line systems for high- pressure transport of gaseous and liquid products and includes manufacture of branch pipe as integral part without any joints ensuring gradual bends of branch-pipe axis and its inner surface of any shape and disposition of its longitudinal axis in space. Branch pipes are mainly produced from glass-reinforced plastics with various kinds of internal protective coatings and joint members for connection to adjacent components of pipeline structure. Recommendations are given for designing components of protective coating for intermediate layer and power-bearing framework, proportion of concentric-layer tape width and inner diameter of branch pipe, intermediate-layer tape width and inner diameter of branch pipe, glass-fabric layer tape width and inner diameter of branch pipe, and overlapping degree in placing blanks of powerbearing framework.
