CHIMNEY WATER HEATER Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: domestic heating furnaces and chimneys, possibly water heater with tubular screens.

SUBSTANCE: water heater includes brick lining of hearth, walls and flue, open fire chamber with lateral ducts for heat recovery, metallic screen, dam, smoke trap with cleaning door and flue with damper. Water heater also includes water collector that is built in wall of fire chamber, made as one piece with coil screen to which tubular coil screen is joined. It provides possibility for screening surfaces of dam, smoke trap and smoke duct. The last is vertical zigzag -shaped, its portions are inclined by angle up to 30 degrees. Smoke duct is built in bottom of pressure tank. Vertical pipe open to atmosphere is connected to upper part of water collector and it forms it connecting vessels. In lower part water collector has branch pipe for draining water and for connection.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of water heater.
