FIELD: means of man individual protection against fragments and bullets.
SUBSTANCE: a shield-visor is installed on the helmet body. The mentioned shield is made in the form of a flat or convex plate of perforated material diffuse-scattering the electromagnetic waves at a perforation-to-full surface ratio from 1:2 to 1:4 within the perforated area at plate thickness ; where h-the plate thickness, mm; g-the mass of the bullet or ammunition fragment, g; V- the velocity of the straight hit of the ammunition fragment or bullet, ms; - the coefficient taking into account the characteristics of the plate perforated area, unit; - the coefficient characterizing the resistance of the plate material to piercing of an ammunition fragment or bullet through it.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of protection of the helmet user against ammunition fragments and sniper's bullets.
