FIELD: medicine, biology, biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for diagnosis and prediction of metabolic disorders in human body. Invention proposes a method for diagnosis of metabolic disorders using rootless duckweed (Wolfia) as an indicator biotest. Method involves preliminary preparing a standard from an aqueous solution of corresponding metabolite where standards and rootless duckweed (Wolfia) as a biotest are settled, exposed it for 40-45 min and subjected for microscopic analysis followed by comparison with microscopic picture of rootless duckwood exposed in patient serum blood. The presence of metabolic disorder is diagnosed in the case of coincidence of form, structure and color of biotest isolated from patient serum blood with standard biotest. The absence of this metabolic disorder is diagnosed in the case of noncoincidence of microscopic picture. Method is simple by performance, doesn't require large material consumptions and can be used in express-diagnosis of metabolic disorders.
