FIELD: pharmacology.
SUBSTANCE: invention, which can be used for estimating physiological effect, dose selection, and metabolic rehabilitation pharmaceutics and parapharmaceutics with a view of diagnostics, comprises placing Wolffia duckweed into patient's blood serum followed by ageing for 40-50 min, placing resulting serum drops onto object-plate, drying, and microscopic investigation. When preparation contains metabolic structures in the form of subconcentric and subparallel aggregates or complete rosettes or radial sectors having consistent dimensions, metabolic rehabilitation is predicted. Method allows reliability of controlling rehabilitation of metabolic disorders to be increased, enables estimating effects of pharmaceutics and parapharmaceutics and correcting dose as well as making decision about continuation or cessation of prescribed treatment. Method requires no quantitative determination of blood serum constituent levels.
