FILTER ELEMENT Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: filtering devices; mechanical engineering; cleaning liquids and gases from mechanical impurities.

SUBSTANCE: proposed filter element has cylindrical perforated ferrule with perforated tube inside it. Rigid perforated backing located around perforated tube is made from plates whose ends are connected at ferrule. Located in between backing and ferrule is corrugated filtering shutter. Number of corrugations of shutter and consequently filtering surface are increased due to oval shape of backing.

EFFECT: increased service life of filter element.
