FIELD: single-rotor helicopters with cargo cabin.
SUBSTANCE: proposed helicopter has fuselage with crew cabin in nose section and cargo cabin in central part, tail and end booms and lifting and tail rotors. Plane of aperture of rear hatch of cargo cabin is located at angle relative to horizontal plane. Inner contour of aperture is formed by lower beam with ramp articulated on it, inclined side members and upper boom shifted in way of end boom. Width of said aperture is dictated by sizes of cargo to be transported. Upper boom is located within theoretical sizes (without ramp) of outline of rear part of cargo cabin of fuselage of tear-shaped form. Such outline ensures minimum area of washing of fuselage with air flow from lifting rotor. Angle of inclination of rear hatch aperture plane to horizontal plane ranges from 25 to 30 deg.; spoilers may be mounted on sides of this hatch.
EFFECT: reduced mass of structure; improved aerodynamic characteristics of helicopter due to updated arrangement of cargo hatch.
