FIELD: equipment, particularly for storing and unwinding electrode wire.

SUBSTANCE: container includes square box formed of cardboard. Box has four vertical side walls, four vertical corners. Container also includes central cylindrical cartridge, inner vertical tubular lining of octagonal shape. Tubular lining has four outer walls abutting side box walls and four alternating inner walls located between outer walls. Each inner wall of tubular lining is spaced from vertexes of outer box corners which define vertical cavities of triangular cross section having defined dimensions in non-operative condition. Container comprises reinforcing members for vertical corner reinforcement placed in each vertical cavity. Each reinforcing member in each vertical cavity has diagonal pressing rib extending from corner vertex to inner wall.

EFFECT: increased container rigidity, maintenance of storage container space.
