SUBSTANCE: egg package contains a rectangular-shaped padflat in a plan with egg-laying sockets and a lid-shaped upside-down tray having side lateral walls and an upper horizontally disposed flat wall, in which a through hole is made. Lid is mounted on a padflat, which is made unframed with an arrangement along its perimeter of the edge protrusions, each made in the form of a ridge cut in the vertical direction, separating on the surface of the said padflat a nest for laying eggs and turned by a flat wall outward from the edge of the padflat. Lid is a corrugated cardboard tray made from a sheet billet by the bending of its parts and the lateral flat walls of which are perpendicular to the bottom of this tray, which is an upper horizontally disposed flat wall with a through aperture. Side walls of the lid in the corner areas are made chamfered to form additional walls with a length not exceeding the distance along the line, passing in the corner zone of the padflat from one of its edges to the adjoining edge of this padflat past the edge protrusion in this corner zone from its inner side.
