FIELD: organometallic chemistry, chemical technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention describes bridge-bound metallocene catalytic complexes with element of the group 4 of the Periodic system that elicit the sufficient solubility in aliphatic solvents and they show the high effectiveness in processes for polymerization of olefins in solution. This provides preparing olefin copolymers of high molecular mass with high catalytic activity being especially in high-temperature polymerization reactions. Invention describes a method for polymerization in preparing ethylene copolymers with density from about 0.850 to about 0.940 g/cm3. Method involves addition of ethylene and one or some co-monomers able to the insertion polymerization under the polymerization conditions in solution at reaction temperature 160 C or that exceeding 160-250 C to contact with bridge-bound metallocene catalytic complex derived from two accessory ligands being each of that can be substituted or unsubstituted independently wherein these ligands are bound by covalent bridge comprising one substituted atom of element of the group 14 being substituents of this atom of element of the group 14 involve aryl groups being one of that comprises hydrocarbonylsilyl substituent and activating co-catalyst.
