FIELD: rubber industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rubbers containing both linear and branched molecular structures and to monovinylidene-aromatic polymers modified by rubbers. Rubber-modified monovinylidene-aromatic (co)polymer is obtained from vinylaromatic monomer or from combination thereof with one or more additional comonomers and diene rubber containing both linear (25-75%) and branched (75-25%) molecular structures. Rubber has broad but nevertheless monomodal distribution of weight average molecular mass. Molecular mass of branched-structure rubber is superior to that of linear-structure rubber.
EFFECT: acquired combined properties due to increased practical impact elasticity as well as rigidity.
