FLUORINE RUBBER-BASED COATING FORMATION METHOD Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2232780 C2

FIELD: rubber industry.

SUBSTANCE: object of invention is formation of coating based on rubber SKF-32 to protect surfaces against deleterious media. Rubber SKF-32 is applied onto surface of rubber object in the form of solution in organic solvent or organic peroxide at weight ratio 10:(89-89.9):(0.1-1), respectively. Vulcanization is carried out under UV irradiation for 5 to 30 min. Organic peroxide is selected from 2-hydroxy-2-tert-butyl-peroxyperfluorohexane or di-tetrt-butylperoxyphenylmethane.

EFFECT: increased resistance of coating against harmful media and improved adhesive ability of coatings.
