FIELD: biotechnology, veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with creating a biological preparation for treating and preventing salmonellosis in animals and poultry. It could be, also, applied at manufacturing curative fodders and ecologically pure products for human nutrition. The suggested biopreparation contains the strains of the following bacteriophages: Phagum Salmonella choleraesuis CSl-DEP and/or Phagum Salmonella choleraesuis CS2-DEP and/or Phagum Salmonella enteritidis SPZ-1-DEP and/or Phagum Salmonella enteritidis SPZ-2-DEP, Phagum Salmonella enteritidis SPZ-3-DEP and/or Phagum Salmonella enteritidis A-1-DEP and/or Phagum Salmonella enteritidis F-6-DEP and/or Phagum Salmonella enteritidis JUN-1-DEP and/or Phagum Salmonella enteritidis JUN-2-DEP and/or Phagum Salmonella enteritidis C-1-DEP and/or Phagum Salmonella enteritidis G-1-DEP taken in efficient quantity. It, also, contains anantiseptic, for example, chinosol and a stabilizer as protein (for example, soybean protein), plant meal, organic polymer, milk, whey, albumin. Out of organic polymers one may apply dextran, polyglycin, starch, polyvinyl pyrrolidone. Biopreparation could be freeze dried, granulated put into polymeric matrix. It is active against Salmonella enteritidis, Salmonella typhimurium, Salmonella Heidelberg, Salmonella choleraesuis, Salmonella gallinarum-pullorum. Biopreparation is nontoxic for animals, highly hygroscopic and highly water-dispersed, it could be applied both in liquid and dry receipt forms at different ways of injection: due to subcutaneous, intraperitoneal, intramuscular injections and, also, as aerosol, due to introducing phage particles into pulmonary departments, perorally - including application as curative fodder and fodder additive and, also, due to applying it onto skin surface. The present innovation enables to increase efficiency in treating intestinal infections in animals and poultry due to shortened terms of therapy, broadened range of biopreparation's lytic action, resistance to the action of gastrointestinal enzymes.
EFFECT: higher convenience of application.
